Zedd feat. Jeff Buckley

For Dream Brother, I explored a darker, eerie, emotional tone by using a half-skeletal crow to symbolize a guardian angel parting the waves, paying homage to Jeff Buckley and the song’s somber mood.

I experimented extensively with the look of the sky, initially creating a brighter, happier version, but it just didn’t feel right. After finishing up some of the other artworks, I returned and created a much darker sky that fit better, which is what you see here in the final piece.
